20 Ashburton Place is a 55,388-square-foot distinct mid-rise in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood. The boutique office building recently underwent a major transformation including a new main lobby with an enhanced canopy entrance and a modernization of all common areas and bathrooms. The renovations reflect luxurious comfort showcasing tailored finishes that highlight existing classic architectural elements while adding a modern aesthetic. 20 Ashburton offers highly efficient floor plates, generous ceiling heights, and an abundance of natural light.
JLL Managing Directors Ben Heller and Tom O’Regan and Senior Vice President Kelly Lockberg represented the building’s owner Faros Properties in the lease transactions. Heller and Associate Bobby Jangro also negotiated on behalf of Perkins Eastman, an international planning, design, and consulting firm.
According to Heller: “With recent renovations to the lobby and common areas, 20 Ashburton Place has truly been transformed. Surrounded by some of the area’s major institutions and across from the State House, the property is uniquely positioned in one of Boston’s most historic yet rapidly changing neighborhoods, and offers unparalleled access to all major MBTA lines.”
20 Ashburton Place, which is also home to the building’s owner, Faros Properties, currently has 5,300 square feet available on the building’s first floor. Perfect for retail use, or even for an office tenant, the space offers high-profile visibility with opportunity for signage and branding, as well as its own off-street entrance. The property also has 5,000 square feet of space available below grade with elevator access.
